Ingredients

- 1.2 kg Chicken breasts or thighs, boneless and skinless, trimmed
4-6 pieces depending on size
Seasonings & Aromatics
- 8 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning (dried)
- ½ tsp Salt
to taste
- ¼ tsp Black pepper (ground)
to taste
Liquid
- 240 ml Chicken stock
low-sodium preferred
Optional
- 15 ml Olive oil(optional)
for browning chicken before slow cooking
Garnish & Finish
- 15 g Fresh parsley or basil, chopped(optional)
Add in final 15 minutes of cooking
- 50 g Grated Parmesan cheese(optional)

If desired, heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then brown on both sides for 2-3 minutes each side for enhanced flavour. This step is optional but recommended.
