About this site

Why a fresh start.

This site used to publish auto-generated recipes nightly. The volume was high, the quality was poor — wrong measurements, recipes that weren't really slow cooker recipes, summaries that didn't match the dish. We've stopped that and started over.

From here, every recipe gets its transcript pulled, then carefully extracted by Claude Opus with strict source-fidelity rules: if a quantity isn't stated, it doesn't get invented; if a step isn't shown, it doesn't get padded. Then a human checks it before it goes live.

Slower, smaller, much better.
