Ingredients

- 1 โ kg beef chuck roast, cut into 5 cm chunks
Browning the beef first in a hot pan will add depth of flavour, though this step is optional.
Vegetables
- 5 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 5 medium carrots, sliced into rounds
- 4 stalks celery stalks, sliced
Liquid & Seasoning
- 950 ml water
- 2 packets onion soup mix
- 15 ml onion powder
- 5 ml Worcestershire sauce
A light splash to taste; adjust to your preference.
Seasoning

Prepare all ingredients: cut beef into chunks, peel and chunk the potatoes, slice the carrots and celery, and measure out the water and seasonings.
