This is a fuss-free slow cooker take on chicken and dressing, the kind of comforting meal the Farm and Pastor's Wife calls Thanksgiving in a bowl. Chicken breasts are seasoned, topped with hob stuffing mix, and finished with a creamy soup and sour cream sauce. It cooks on low for around four hours and pairs nicely with corn on the cob or mashed potatoes. Perfect for a busy day when you want a hearty meal without standing over the hob.
Editor's note: Salt, pepper and poultry seasoning quantities described loosely (less than half a teaspoon of salt and pepper, a sprinkle of poultry seasoning). Cream of chicken soup tin size not specified. | Second-pass critique flagged 2 fabricated and 2 quantified issues. See critique.issues for detail.
