Ingredients:
- 450g (1lb) extra-lean ground beef
- 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
- 1 medium-sized green bell pepper, chopped
- 500g (17oz) can whole-kernel corn, drained
- 110g (4oz) can
mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 teaspoon. salt
- ¼ teaspoon. black pepper
- 300g (11oz) jar salsa
- 5 cups dry medium egg noodles, cooked
- 800g (28oz) can low-sodium diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
Steps:
- Brown ground beef and onion in nonstick skillet over medium
heat. Transfer to slow cooker.
- Top with remaining ingredients in order listed.
- Cover. Cook on Low 4 hours.
