Ingredients:
- 680g (1 ½ lbs) hot Italian sausage without casing
- 4 cups Shredded cabbage
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 3 cups peeled potato, diced
- 1 ½ cups onion, chopped
Steps:
- In a large greased frying pan or skillet, scramble-fry the
sausage for about 12 minutes on Medium-High setting.
- Drain and transfer the contents to a 3.5-4L slow cooker.
- Add tomatoes, potato, 1 cup of water and sprinkle with salt and
pepper to taste.
- Stir, cover and cook for 6 to 7 hours on Low or 3- 3 ½ hours on
High.
- Stir in cabbage, cover and cook for 1 hour on High until cabbage
is tender.
