  • 28oz (800g) diced tomatoes undrained
  • 1 cup diced turkey (cooked)
  • 6 oz (180g) canned tomato paste
  • 1 green pepper cut into 2.5 cm (1 inch) pieces
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cups water
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves chopped finely
  • 4 cup rice (cooked)
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup shrimp peeled (uncooked)
  • teaspoon red pepper sauce
  • cup parsley chopped


  • Place all the ingredients (except for rice and shrimp) in a slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook for 5 to 7 hours over low heat or 2 to 3 hours over high heat.
  • Add the shrimp and stir.
  • Cover and cook for another 45 minutes until shrimp is firm.
  • Serve with rice and enjoy!
