Slow Cooker Size 3.5-4L+
Serves: 3-4
Cooking time: 6-7 hours on Low or 3-3 ½ hours on High

Ingredients:

  • 400g (14 oz) canned tomatoes with juice, broken up
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¾ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon white sugar, granulated
  • 450g (1 lb) cooked, shelled prawns (or shrimp)
  • Grated parmesan cheese, sprinkle

Steps

  1. Using a 3.5L slow cooker, combine the tomatoes, onion, garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, and white sugar. Cover the cooker and cook for 6-7 hours on low or 3 – 3 ½ hours on high.
  2. Add the prawns to the mix and stir. Cook on high for about 15 minutes or until the shrimp is completely heated through.
  3. Serve over rice or pasta, and sprinkle with cheese.
