Preparation time: 10 minutes

Serves: 6
Cooking time: 4 hours on HIGH setting

Pork chops are so delicious when you cook them just right. But it’s easy to overcook them, and when you do, they turn out tough. But that’s not a problem with this recipe. They’re perfect every time. Pork chops are great with classic sides like green beans, but you can change it up a bit, too. How about Brussels sprouts? Simply slice them in half and sauté in butter in a skillet with some minced garlic and onions. Mmmm…

  • 4 thick cut boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients except for pork chops, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker.
  2. Cut one or two small slits in each pork chop. Season each with salt and pepper
  3. Place pork chops in slow cooker. Cook covered, on High setting for 4 hours. If possible, baste occasionally with the liquid.
