Cooking time: 6-7 hours on Low or 3-3 hours on High


  • 680g (1 lbs) hot Italian sausage without casing
  • 4 cups Shredded cabbage
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 3 cups peeled potato, diced
  • 1 cups onion, chopped


  1. In a large greased frying pan or skillet, scramble-fry the sausage for about 12 minutes on Medium-High setting.
  2. Drain and transfer the contents to a 3.5-4L slow cooker.
  3. Add tomatoes, potato, 1 cup of water and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir, cover and cook for 6 to 7 hours on Low or 3- 3 hours on High.
  5. Stir in cabbage, cover and cook for 1 hour on High until cabbage is tender.
