Cooking time:


  • cup (all-purpose) plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion flakes
  • teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni


  • In a saucepan, stir in the flour, salt, pepper, onion flakes, and paprika.
  • Whisk in milk gradually until no lumps remain. Heat and stir mixture until boiling and the mix is thickened.
  • Add cheese and macaroni. Stir contents. And place in a 3.5L slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 2 2 hours or 1 hour on high.
