Ingredients

  • 2 cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes
  • 1 lb (500g) hot Italian sausage casing removed
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cans artichoke hearts
  • 4 cups tomato basil pasta sauce

Steps:

  • Place the tomatoes in a 4-5L slow cooker
  • Using a large greased skillet, scramble-fry the sausage with the onions. Do this for about 8 minutes in medium-high heat, or until the sausage is no longer pink. Drain and add sausage to the slow cooker.
  • Add artichoke and pasta sauce. Stir and cook covered on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
