Made this tonight and it was dliucioes! Next time I think I'll use a little less cheese though, my regular funeral potatoes has a lot less cheese. It was fabulous though!

I preordered this from Amazon. I thguhot this was geared toward American style food. It is another British cookbook and there was not one recipe I could use. It was not worth the effort of sending it back. I thguhot I might find some use for it .start a fire, something. I would happily give my copy away if anyone wants it. I have not opened it again since the day it arrived. I have learned to use my Halogen cooker without a cookbook.Totally worthless.

A creamy and tasty treat for everyone to enjoy on Christmas eve.

Ingredients

  • 32 oz (900g) hash brown potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • cup butter
  • 1 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Place the hash browns in the slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, mix the mushroom soup, cheese soup and sour cream.
  • Pour the mixture into the slow cooker.
  • Stir in the butter.
  • Cover and cook for 4 to 6 hours on low.
  • Stirring occasionally.
  • Take the hash brown off from heat, allow to stand and serve.
