Cooking time: 8-9 hours on Low or 4-4 hours on High setting


  • 8 skinless chicken breast, cut into half (boneless)
  • 1 cups onion, chopped
  • 280g (10 oz) sliced mushroom in can, drained
  • cup water
  • cup Dijon mustard
  • 160 ml (5 oz) can of evaporated milk
  • 280g (10 oz) can of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • teaspoon dried chillies, crushed
  • 750g (26 oz) frozen broccoli, sliced and chopped smaller


  1. Combine onion, mushrooms, cream of chicken soup, water and crushed chillies in a 4 to 5L slow cooker.
  2. Add chicken and stir gently.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook for 8 to 9 hours over low heat or 4 to 4 hours over high heat.
  4. Put the evaporated milk and broccoli stirring continuously.
  5. Cook for 20 minutes over high heat until broccoli is tender.
  6. Serve immediately.
