Preparation time: 15 minutes
Slow Cooker Size 3.5L+
Serves: 4
Cooking time: 8 hours on  Low setting

Ingredients:

  • 400 ml (13 fl oz) coconut cream
  • 1 chicken breast, chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1 celery stick, chopped
  • 1 parsnip, peeled and sliced
  • 1 potato, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1 brown onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Tumeric
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • cup frozen peas
  • cup of water

Steps:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the chicken and cook until browned.
  2. Place all the ingredients in the slow cooker.  Stir well to combine.
  3. Cover and cook for 8 hours over low heat.
  4. Best if served with rice.
