Any suggestions on what I could use instead of your frozen biscuit. There are no frozen pastries available where I live.

Serves: 6
Cooking time:

This is a very easy and indulgent recipe and is perfect for a coffee morning or for dessert.

  • 2 x 8 oz (225g)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cinnamon
  • sugar

  • Mix nuts and brown sugar together.
  • Dip each biscuit or roll in melted butter, then brown sugar nut / mixture.
  • Place in a cake pan insert or coffee can that fits inside your slow cooker. Sprinkle each layer of biscuits with a bit of cinnamon and sugar. If you’re using a coffee can to make this, cover it with several paper towels before cooking.
  • Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours without lifting lid.
  • Recipe End
