Butternut Squash with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon

  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 butternut squash (large)
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • cup brown sugar


  • Cut the stem of butternut squash and scoop the seeds out.
  • Quarter and cut the squash lengthwise.
  • Pour the apple juice in the slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon, sugar and butter.
  • Place the quartered squash in the slow cooker.
  • Spread the butter mixture over the squash.
  • Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low.
  • Serve.
