600 ml (18 fl oz)milk
- scalded and cooled slightly
1 teaspoonvanilla extract

whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
for the garnish.
To prepare, you need to lightly butter the slow cooker and after that
add the bread cubes carefully to the cooker.
In a small mixing bowl, use
a whisk to combine the milk that you have scalded, eggs, sugar,
cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, vanilla, and the melted butter.
ingredients are together, pour the milk mixture over the bread cubes
then add the raisins, or the apples, if you wish to do so.
You will need to absorb the milk mixture using all the bread pieces
therefore you need to press them down very well using a large spoon or
spatula carefully. When doing this, it is very important that you do not
stir them together.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours making sure that you have covered the
food. Cook until the pudding has set and serve it with a yummy
frozen vanilla ice cream that is sure to bring a giant smile to your baby's little face.
