Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb (700 g) boneless beef top round steak 3cm (1 inch) thick, cut into 2.5cm (1 inch) chunks
  • 2 garlic cloves , minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 6 oz (180g) small whole mushroom
  • 2 cups thawed frozen whole baby carrots (or fresh)
  • 1 cup frozen small whole onions  thawed
  • 10.75 oz (300g) condensed mushroom soup
  • 250 ml (8.4 fl oz) Burgundy or other dry red wine

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients into slow cooker and lightly blend with a wooden spoon.
  • Cover and cook on Low setting for 8 hours, or until beef is tender enough to cut with a fork.
